Love the incorporation of the Louisiana logo.
Also that SEC champ ring is my personal fav, reminds me so much of my fathers from 87.

The Advocate mentioned the cost of each ring could not exceed something like $415 or $475.

Wow really. That sucks. I thought they definitely would have been like 5-6 k each at a minimum

Looks good especially considering how janky some of the Clemson and Alabama looked in the past.

Cost on every ring was under the $415 price limit per NCAA. That means it’s not gold and the stones aren’t genuine.

Is that the amount the school can put towards it or is that the total amount that can be spent?

Correct. Furthermore, we don’t even have a school song titled “Hold that Tiger”. That said, it is a popular saying associated with LSU, and especially Coach O. Very appropriate for the ring. I think the person who made this graphic just doesn’t know enough.

T-Bob was on the radio yesterday talking about how the quality of the championship rings were mostly shite. He said none of the jewels are real (or at least very valuable) and the "L" on his 2007 NC ring just randomly fell out without him wearing it.

The value is in the rarity and accomplishment it took to earn the rings, but the quality of the materials is pretty garbage compared to most jewelry

After market value if one of the players chose to sell would be higher than that for sure.
