Anyone remember Amp Hill? Sounds eerily similar. Was supposed to have a breakout season. Made a wild one handed catch on an out route. Got injured. Disappeared.

Had one of the baddest highlights I ever saw, hemmed up on the sideline by three defenders after a catch and juked one of them into blocking the other two to break loose. Shame his career got cut short by the injury (knee, I think?).

I went to one of the freshman only practices at the beginning of Amp Hill's freshman year. Dwayne Bowe and Craig Davis were both true freshman WRs as well. Bowe and Davis were both NFL first round picks. At least at that time, Amp Hill stood out as clearly the best one.

Amp Hill was probably the best wr to never play at LSU.
Just bad luck. Heard he was a good kid too.
