All year long I read that this team has no leaders, couldn’t win it without leaders, well, when I think who were the leaders, their really wasn’t one guy that stood out; maybe Milam, Anderson, and this Freshman….. kind of cool…

Amen ! I could not Agree More.Derek is a freshman fenom.5 tool player ,now,that will add 20 pounds to his 6/2 frame and hit with even more power in his sophomore year.
Never saw a freshmen in the box down 0-2 and work a walk or get the hit.

If baseball players were a stock, DC would be a strong BUY. As good as he showed out in Frosh year, his upside is huge to further from into his 6’2” frame with 10-15 lbs of muscle and add to his power stats.
