Thanks for being a Tiger, Giles! SEC was just too much. Not his fault. Nothing but well wishes for him.

Don't worry, we are putting all our eggs into one basket (a kid who hasn't played a snap in an LSU uniform)

I really do feel for the kid, but he just wasn’t cut out for it.

Those were definitely the glory days of LSU football.

So we only have 1 incoming freshman that can field punts? Really?

Yea, no other players on the roster can return punts.

I remember when the head coach sang his praises and talked him up like he was the second coming of Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham combined, then stuck him in an inept offense and an even worse special teams scheme.

After Jonathan Giles had so many issues returning punts, that could fall in the hands of Derek Stingley, Jontre Kirklin, Ja’Marr Chase, possibly even Derrick Dillon. Again, there is no shortage of options.

Maurice Hampton was a hell of a returner in high school as well

He's a player. There's no denying that. He didn't fit this system at all though, and we had no idea how to use him. Then when he got his number called, he no longer had that confidence he once had because his prior experience here had been so bad. So it just compounded on itself. He needs a fresh start and I hope to see the kid in the NFL one day, making big plays.

He found out quick SEC defense speed far greater that Big 12 defense speed. I remember early in the year they ran a tunnel screen to him that was open at first but then it closed quick and he didn’t have the burst or moves to break free. He ran those same screens at Tech very successfully.

Yeah, it's tough finding a use for a wide receiver who can't get open, and can't catch.

Then takes a shot at the guy about the number change a couple of months ago.

Cool comment would have probably been better suited for Captain Panic.

Yeah, can’t forget a coach throwing a player under the bus, by name, for the very honor he bestowed upon said player.
