Interesting..Jarvis Landry at #2 behind Boone. With the only talk about him being in the negative light lately it seemed we might not get to see him in action early. I am anxious to see how our receiving crew does in the spotlight. I have no doubt Randall will be the star and really have a breakout year but there are a bunch of young guns who have a real opportunity to shine!!!!!!!!!!

Landry and Davenport are both in the two deep. Interesting.

Also, interesting that Ware and Blue are listed as co-number 1 at RB.

I have my doubts on this being what we'll se eon saturday...

Stampley over Copeland? All indications pointed to Copeland being THE guy at fullback. Stampley is really not good.

Simon not starting at corner? The coaches were saying Simon would start at corner and Mathieu stay at nickel only...what happened?

Downs over Freak? Really? REALLY? Come on, Freak will play more, we all know this. Downs is not an every-down player.

I really hope Minter starts over Hatcher at MLB, very concerning to me Hatcher can just come in and basically grab the spot Sheppard tutored Minter for 2 years in a row to take. Minter may not be living up to expectations. I really wanted to see Hatcher at SLB for Francois...just don't quite understand him as a MLB I guess.

Beckham in our 3-wide set.

I like that. I'm anxious to see what this kid can do.

I also notice he's wearing #33 like his old man.

They have him starting at Nickel as well. So, more than likely, whenever LSU is in nickel, you'll see Simon at CB

Downs over Freak?

Might be a good idea as a way to take some pressure off his shoulders as a True Frosh. He'll get plenty of playing time and chances for big things, so starting Downs over him isn't that big of a deal.

i was under the assumption that landry was better then OBJ. Odell is small, i hope he is physical enough.

Suprising that a true freshman will start in place of Shep. Any reliable information on how good this kid is?

This. Although the guy that runs that site is pretty decent, I bet this is not 100% accurate.
