Maybe externally but, internally, they'll know.

He may be right but Moscona also once said TJ Finley was the new QB1 for the next 3-4 years after that South Carolina win and we know how that turned out

Moscona said on his show yesterday that it would be a miracle if Myles won the starting job, those were his exact words. He said MB doesn't have the skill set to run this offense

How does Moscona know what type of offense will be ran?

No.

When asked about Jayden Daniels footwork project, Denbrock says it isn't finished yet. Meaning, of course, that in his mind Daniels still isn't accurate enough yet.

Hence, the writing is on the wall on who will be LSU's next starting QB. Anyone care to guess?

I don't have a clue but I trust the coaches.
The lack of confidence in the OL, IMO, will not dictate the starting QB.
If we have a porous OL we need a QB that makes quick decisions and accurate passes.
I haven't seen anything from Daniels that indicates he is that guy. I'll admit I haven't seen a lot of Daniels except the Spring game and a recording of his Arizona St vs Florida St Bowl game. He wasn't impressive.
Neither indicated he is that guy.
Hopefully tomorrow's scrimmage will indicate that he has made a drastic improvement in accuracy. Those wobbly passes will be intercepted by good DBs.
He can't depend on only his quick feet and speed to win games vs top SEC teams.

Why guess? Why hasn’t it been announced if you’re so sure?

Or are you going to say “blah blah he’ll transfer so fast it’ll make Kelly’s head spin” again?

Just stop with your stuff. My gosh.

Terrible translation.

Clearly he wishes he had a clear cut #1 and at some point they gotta pick but they have time.

That's why I think, ultimately, Daniels will start in game 1. With new players, a new offensive system, literally zero returning o-linemen who are penciled in as definite starters, and, most importantly, no "warm up" game before FSU, there is no way the coaches can feel 100% confident in whatever OL combination the put on the field in the opener. With that being the case, I think they err on the side of "caution" and start the guy (Daniels) who has the most game experience (by a long shot) and is the most mobile, which would allow him the best opportunity to mitigate shaky OL play.

You're right. Daniels has by far the most experience, even though he is terribly inaccurate. In fact, he threw 10 freaking touchdown passes with 10 interceptions last year. Hence, because he has more experience relative to Nuss, he will inevitably be named the starter for the Florida State game.

While not only will Nuss hit the transfer portal, but the entire wide receiver room will also hit the transfer portal with Nuss.

I mean what's the use of having a wide receiver corps if you are going to name a QB who is a terrible passer the starter?

I'd be willing to wager anyone on here real money that Myles will not be the starter.

That's not a hard bet. Myles is already out of the competition because he didn't show up all summer long to throw to the receivers like Nuss and Daniels both did. Thus, Myles has been rewarded with working with the threes.

I do think the longer the OLine goes unsettled on starters that does not benefit Myles.

That will hurt all of them equally. Sure, Nuss and Daniels can scramble out of a crumbling pocket for no gain. Myles has shown he takes care of the ball.
Nah, gonna disagree with this.

Daniels at QB, defenses would be terrified to blitz. The 2 things we all agree he does well is move, and throw a nice deep ball. You have Boutte and probably Nabors at WR.

If it's Brennan at QB, you blitz and hope the line crumbles before the WRs get open.
If it's Nuss, you try to confuse and bait him into throwing into coverage.
If it's Daniels, you play soft and contain him, and hope he misses his targets.
