i know as of 2 years ago the laser times weren't released until the reports were sent out
i have never heard of that changing, but it may have
the company that runs the combine stands to lose a lot of money if anyone can see the official times
Seems like it's been this way for a while...
The unofficial times they report are what the NFL Network times...then they release the official laser times later that day. It's on NFL.com

Deon Butler.
Out of high school Akron pulled his scholly at DB cause they didn't think he was good enough. Walked on at Penn State and they moved him to wideout. He gave our school's QB nightmares his Soph year in High School. Definitely the real deal.

He should be well-rested, too, since he took 2008 off.

Cook is basically 6-5 250 and runs a 4.5 forty with a 41 inch vertical. He also did 23 reps of 225 and broad jumped 10-3. Are you kidding me??? What a freak of an athlete!

I want to know his vertical jump?

Byrd us not the first tiger to get slower, shorter, smaller and weaker after finishing a career at LSU.

If he keeps working out he'll run a faster time at LSU Pro Day.
a lot of folks are being skeptical now about the new Lucas Oil stadium being a slower field. The numbers are way down from last year overall.

Yes. 6 foot even. lsusports.net roster typically does a good job getting within an inch of the actual height but apparently they really screwed him up. He was listed at 6'2 as a junior and 6'3 as a senior.

All high schools and colleges lie about players heights and weight. I remember being 5'11 225lbs in my high school football program. I immediately shrunk back down to 5'9 211lbs after football season.

Just a few weeks ago, there was a thread where someone said Percy Harvin was in the same league speed wise as Trindon Holiday and Jeff Demps. I said he wasn't. Well we all know Byrd is fast, but not near as fast as Holiday. Percy Harvin ran basically the same time as Byrd. Harvin is fast, but they talk about his speed on tv almost as if it were legendary. Obviously that isn't the case.

Everyone else was though. And they said this was supposed to be the fastest year for WRs ever and it was simply the same as last year. I get the feeling you'll see a lot of faster 40 times at pro days in the coming month.
