Our D won that game last night....

Held Clemson close until the O got their footing...then stepped on Clemsons throat in the 2nd half.

It does, but only when the defense has 4 senior 1st round draft picks on D-line

You are comparing things that shouldn't be compared.

Times change, teams change, football changes.

If '11 had a semblance of an offense, that team would have been the greatest team in history prior to this '19 one.

Don’t tell that to the Tennessee Titans. They’re one win away from a Super Bowl appearance playing 1970’s football.

It does, and LSU has a damn good one. Forget all the noise surrounding a few lazy second halves. Prior to the season, many on this board were predicting one of the all time great defenses. Statistically, that went wayward early on, but these guys delivered in crucial moments all year long.

I don't think many people doubted whether LSU would score on Clemson. But many were wondering if they could hold Clemson's offense in check.

They did. And that's what made the biggest difference last night.

It looked like we were headed for a shootout after that score to make it 28-25. Props to the LSU D and Aranda for shutting the door on Clemson after that point.

If your defense could stop LSU, then you would win. There wasn’t a defense good enough.
