I think you’re right it’s affecting him. I think Stingley is banged up too and that’s causing some of it. But Delpits issues can’t just be excised by injury because if he were just using proper technique and trying to get guys to the ground it would protect his injury more than flying in shoulder blocking people and ducking his head all the time for big hits. That’s way more dangerous than going through the knees and wrapping up.

Tell us how it was Arandas fault. Specifically tell us what plays we were out of position and what Aranda should have been calling to fix it.

You keep saying shite like

quote:

There were huge holes, long runs, wide open 60+ yard pass plays all over the field.

But no specifics on how Aranda caused all this. Also i would be curious to see these 60+ yard pass plays all over the field you mention considering Bama didn't hit many big plays the entire game. They had to work for almost every yard. Harris was the only one who really tore through our defense last night.

Dan Quinn said that Raheem Morris, who has coached the team's wide receivers, will now become the Falcons' new secondary coach.

It worked for the Falcons today when they beat the Saints arse. We may have to move Air Joe Brady over to the D for a while

The guy they all drool over and compare Aranda to is Brett Venables from Clemson

Venables vs Alabama
4 games 115 points allowed 28.8ppg, given up over 40 twice, lowest held was 16 points.

Dave Aranda vs Bama- 4 games 104 points allowed 26ppg, never given up 40 once and has held Bama to a low of 10 points.

These people don’t know what they’re talking about.

Najee Harris ripped us all night.

Actually only in the 2nd half when we had a big lead. But yes..he was a beast and we tackled poorly. But he didn’t rip us until we were protecting a big lead.

Not the same stat

It's total 3rd downs. Which is still a problem.

All of a sudden Bama’s offense isn’t the best in the country and we should’ve held them.

You people are retarded.

Go away. We just won against our biggest rival for the first time in 8 years. We were shut out at home last year. We have a heisman leading candidate at QB, one of the best offenses in the country, amd are ranked 1 or 2 in all polls. Just enjoy the damn win. Our defense is capable of competing with the best. We know this because we've done it. Their offense is pretty damn good. Relax. We are right where we want to be.

Funny...I have been dang impressed with Aranda the last two years.

We have no dominant pass rushing dlineman. In the face of this we have had pretty good defenses.

There is NO WAY to cover WR forever. On 3rd and long if you don’t think you can just whip somebody and you don’t want to blitz like crazy....you are gonna give up some of those.

I haven’t looked post Bama yet but coming in we were 22nd in overall 3rd Dow D, 3rd in the SEC, top 5 in 3rd and short, up there in 3rd and 7+ and high up in 3 and outs. With the schedule we’ve played, the injuries and lack of depth coupled with personnel holes to be where we are is fine. If we’d have played Bama or Clemson’s schedule nobody would be complaining about the D. Aranda has carried us for 3 years so what’s more likely? Aranda forgot how to coach or we don’t have the pieces necessary to have a top 3-5 nationally ranked D? Because it seems unless we have the #1 offense and #1 defense in all categories you guys are gonna find a way to bitch.

Last year when the offense couldn’t muster a point all you heard was, “well Bamas just the best team of alltime, they could basically make the NFL playoffs what do you expect.” But of course since it’s Aranda now they’re screaming fire a guy who has proved he can beat them every year he’s been here if only we could score points. Let’s be honest, the fans after Arandas arse are strict O honks. They’re mad because O took heat over decisions concerning the offense while Aranda was cherished for keeping the team competitive while O got his offense in place. Now it’s time fir payback and since O didn’t hire Aranda he’s fair game. That’s what this anti- Aranda thing is all about.

I'm 65 years old born in Louisiana and I have been a huge LSU fan my whole life. It is tough being in Alabama the last few years. I'm not some Johnny come lately fan and all I have to say is that some of you guys need to take off your purple and gold blinders and see that we have a very serious problem with the defensive coaching. Some of you Aranda sunshine pumpers were the ones raising hell about Chavis and the Miles Offense. Now,I see this defense turning in the same direction! P.S. I wonder if Papa Burrow might come out of retirement. If he is as tough as Joe, it might be fun!!

Good post. The defense has sucked arse at times for anyone with eyeballs.

I agree with you 100%. Aranda is not the man to get us there. Doesn't have the balls. I have been saying this for awhile. However, all the Aranda apologists always come up with some BS to make excuses for him. I have ZERO confidence in this guy....."Third and Aranda." There's not a 3rd down that he won't surrender. You saw that yesterday as well.

Lmao he just beat Bama and he has a better body of work vs Alabama than Clemson’s DC does. If you’re not trolling you’re an idiot.

How about 3rd and 80 yards under a minute to score a TD?

And you play man with no two deep safety coverage?

Dafuq was LSU thinking?

I'm far less concerned about what Tua did on busted plays than what Trask did

We did have safety help but Stingley blew the coverage and let his man outside.
