Our defense played lights out for the most part. A lot has been made of us giving up 41.

Two touchdowns that you will probably never see happen again.

One was the trick play where our DB turned his head to the sideline and they quick snapped, and the other was the man the man coverage at the end of the game.

In reality that game should’ve been 46 to 27

And I get it if’s and butts.

I dont count a fluke punt return and a lucky trick play against our defense.

34*

Which is better than all but one team Bama has played this year.

Punt return for a TD was not on the Defense either.

Add the punt return where he should have been tackled dead in his tracks at the 18 yard line if not for a missed tackle.

every game we give up a couple of plays. against florida we held them to 27 yards rushing except for busted reads on 2 runs. it just happens.

fortunately our offense can score.

Defense gave up 34 points. One of Bama's TDs was on special teams.

Take away a gimik play and the late TD, that's 21 points we should've given up and ~275 yards passing to Tua.

A thorough arse whooping.

Or a bad call on their last possession with the long pass for td.

Let's be honest...anyone with any objectivity knows that the score is not reflective of the game.

Alabama knows they got dominated.

Analysts that don't have a dog in the rematch masturbation know that LSU dominated Alabama.

Better evaluation than my OP.

Why does that matter? Tigers won the game, and in this case, size doesn't matter.

You can make a case that on Bama's first drive of the game Tua could have walked into the endzone untouched, if not for the freak fumble. What difference does it make at this point in time?

Not if you watched the play you couldn't. Steven and Delpit were both in position to get him around the 5 yard line. (even though I agree with your point overall)

Right. It should've been 27.

And goddamn do I wish it was.

What on Earth are you talking about?

It was 3rd and goal and Tua was about to try for the corner pylon but Delpit, Fulton, and Stevens were there.

This would've been a FG 100% unless Tua found Mike Vick speed somehow.

LSU got 5x points shaved off. Chase’s PI non call is 4 points, illegal blocked extra point is 5. Which makes us not go for 2.... all in all, a 52 point effort by the offense if the refs weren’t skimming.

Our O scored more points in this game than the 5 previous games combined. Our D gave up points to a legit heisman candidate qb and a wr corp that will all be in nfl. We are elite right now. Accept it and enjoy the ride!

This...
7 goes toward Special teams and the fluke play on defense goes to the coaches
