Deep down inside, who's glad LSU is not playing Okst?

dont get me wrong, LSU would win (
), but that fun and gun offense from OKst is the kind of freak offense that could cause a shite-ton of problems. mix in some defense (against an at times streaky LSU offense) and a healthy dose of underdog attitude, and you have a potential upset in the making.
give me the devil i know (bama). presuming LSU can figure out how to cover the screen to TR, i really like LSU's chances.

no. not me.
I agree with your assessment though. It would not have been a cakewalk to deal with that passing attack.
until the actual results are all published, I am still hoping for a flat out tie requiring a coin flip to pick the #2.

I think LSU can shut down Bama's offense.
But then again, Bama can shut down LSU's offense.
However, I think LSU has a better chance with Jefferson's ability to run.
Knowing now what we didn't know then, I'd say LSU has an advantage.
Plus, LSU's special teams will assure Bama always has bad field position.

I have no doubt LSU would score big on OK St. I'd rather play Alabama and beat the living crap out of them and deal with the naysayers arguing that OK St. would have won rather than beating the crap out of OK St. and dealing with those naysayers arguing that Alabama would've won the rematch.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Let's see - Bama fans, ESPN, CBS, and that's pretty much it

Okie st would present problems, but I think we wear them down.
Al-Obama gave up 300 yards rushing to Geo Southern, so I think we can option them to death.

bullshite, we'd give up a few yards early then rail them in the second half. Okie St is smoke and mirrors.

Outside the state of Oklahoma, no such thing.

I have always wanted a Bama rematch. I am not sure that beating them twice will even shut up the Gumps or the ESPN talking heads but I still want to beat their asses three times in row. I hate them and I have no qualms with OSU. Beating Bama again would be outstanding. I am NOT scared of the fact that it is difficult to beat the same team twice in the same season. My faith in this LSU team is great. Geaux Tigers!!!

Not me - I reserved 2 tix to the game under Okie State. I am praying for a miracle that it's LSU-Okie St. so I can go to the game for face value plus $50 it cost to reserve the tix right after Okie st. lost to Iowa St.

I wanted to beat a conference champion and another top 5 team. Bama doesn't deserve a second chance.
