Somehow, this goes over everyone's head. Then the idiots come here and say "well we wear white jerseys"...well yes, we do. They are adorned with purple and gold (ok yellow) trim. Our school colors are purple and "gold". Every piece of Tiger merchandise is purple and gold. On gamedays, 95% of tiger fans on campus are wearing purple and/or gold. If we were purple and white or gold and white, then you may have something. But we are not. Maybe we should stop trying to be Bama for just one second, and embrace the fact that we are LSU. We were able to go 7-1 through the toughest schedule so far wearing purple and gold. Putting on Bama colors is just a bad omen.

Not a single soul watching will see the white and think to themselves "Gee golly Martha, there sure is a lot of Bama fans there look at all that white." They will say, oh sweet they actually pulled off the White out. Bama fans will wear their ugly arse Crimson colors.

This will be the most watched football game of the year so far. I'd say maybe 40% of the people watching the game will know what's going on. A team losing a player for targeting isn't widely known news. Sure it is for us locals, and for some national pundits, but for people that just want to watch a good college football game, they aren't going to know what's going on.

Personally, I just think it is silly nonsense. Your school colors are purple and gold. Wear purple and gold. If Devin White was Devin Red, would we be having a redout?

No they aren't. They will be wondering "why is everyone wearing bama colors for an LSU home game?". That is all. And I don't really care about recruits opinions, i'm talking about it in terms of general pride for your school colors. Everyone is so desperate to be a part of a cause these days. Just be yourself. As a tiger fan, just be Purple/Gold.

LSU can't even officially coordinate the gold game when 99% of the LSU fans in the stadium own a piece of gold LSU gear
