tyrann got torched in coverage last year, he was a hell of a player but he played outside linebacker basically...as far as pure cover skills the younger guys are better. we have better linebackers this year which should take the pressure off a lot so that we dont need a tm7 type player. we will also rush the passer better this year and will protect our inexperienced dbs until they get the hang of things.

Ding ding ding. And I never said he had a better career than prime time...seriously read. I said he is the best football player I have ever seen. Many people say that about all kinds of different players. Primetime was incredible but still have never seen a player accrue the stats and do the things he did in 2 years. But whatever giggles. And yes I am an enormous idiot for replying to this nonsense.

I think we take about as big of a step back as the defense took in 2011 after losing Nevis, Peterson, and Shepperd

So you think the defense will actually be better next year?

Yeah no

Sorry let me clarify big guy. My only point was that everyone freaked out saying how big of a step back we would take after 2010 and we got a lot better. I think it is possible this secondary doesn't take much of a step back at all. Won't really know until the first game now will we.

And I said you must not watch much football. He's a great player, but he should not be the best anyone has ever seen play. Hell GD just came through the program not long ago and he dominated the SEC.

1993-1994 Primtime had like 13 interceptions alone.

When you say someone is the best you've ever seen play you put them up against the best that have played. Hell I'd say that Cam was a better player then TM7.

Still a similar situation with the most athletic LBs being true freshman. This unit needs to step up against the run AND start showing some pass defense capability.

I've still got my eye on #13, he might be skinny but I believe he is going to develop into a player. No one knows if TM7 would have made it through the season, either. Seriously, you don't take one of you most hyped players in recent years to SEC Media days, what that say??

You are right he may have been. One more time for the cheap seats...I did not state I think he is the best football player ever...Hoping somebody would read it and want to argue with me about it. I said he is the best I have ever seen. Hell if I was wondering who might get the lofty greatest ever I would probably say I have not watched enough football and would be guessing. Considering what he did in only 2 years, he is the best that I HAVE EVER SEEN. Can I have the last 20 minutes back please?

Micah will get a shot, he was already slated as the 6db in dime package.
