So, who starts now at Corner in place of Tyrann?

I'm guessing Collins

Micah Eugene maybe or one of the freshmen

OBJ was our next best return man after Mathieu

He should be able to hold his own against #2's, and I would think Miles would give him some safety help over the top if we play a team who likes to pass a lot.

Exactly...and what Mathieu did last year I think maybe overshadowed what he did as a true freshman...he was animal as a true freshman even. I think with the playmakers that are all over the field this year will enable one of the freshman to step up and make plays. No I don't think they will be a clone of Mathieu, but I certainly think we have DBs more than capable of turning some heads and making big plays.

We were still destroying teams when he was suspended last year.

Phew...was hoping someone would reply other then the really witty guy who counts the hours of football he watches. I am not saying we suck now...but to say it is no big deal to lose a player like that is stupid. We are lucky we are soooo stacked so that we can weather the loss.

He's no doubt a great player and a play maker but with the pressure our D-Line should put on QB's, I think I could pick off a couple passes this season...

I'm old and slow

Wasn't he only suspended for the Auburn game...not trying to be a dick, just not sure if my memory is serving me correctly?

If you can find a highlight reel for any other player for two years better then his last 2, I will change my mind to that guy. He could exist...not sure how that is measured against the amount of hours I watch the game. Hell, a retard can watch it all day everyday...means nothing.

We lose Ron Brooks, Morris Claiborne, Brandon Taylor, Tyrann Mathieu, and our DB coach

The secondary is gonna take a step back next year whether you want to believe it or not

Yet we still have the number 1 safety in the country in Reid and a potential 1-2 round draft pick in Tharold Simon.

I think we take about as big of a step back as the defense took in 2011 after losing Nevis, Peterson, and Shepperd.

We have no idea until we play the first game. Higher chance we take a step back though.
