Wassup fellas. A buddy of mine and I are making it down for the weekend and we're really looking forward to it. We're staying in the French Quarter both Friday and Saturday nights and catching a chartered bus to BR for the game and hooking up with some more friends. This will be our first trip down. I've heard so many good and bad things about the atmosphere that I'm not really sure what to expect. I'm sure we'll run into plenty of gracious LSU fans and a handful of the bad ones too but that is no different than Athens so I don't think it will be a total shock either way. Our seats are on the 50, row 7. I think they are in Section 303 and we got these tickets from a pretty prominent alum so I'm guessing we'll be around other UGA folks. Where are all of the visting seats? Also, any suggestions from you folks would be appreciated. Yes, we'll be wearing red and I expect to be harrassed and no I don't own a pair of red pants and wouldn't wear them if I did.

Welcome ... I'm not POSITIVE but I've never seen visiting fans in that section en mass. I think you'll have a VERY HEALTHY dose of purple and gold around you.

Have fun ... and yes, please excuse those "fans" that cause you grief ... all schools have them!

Should be a great game.

Have a good trip.If you come down looking to have fun,you will. Any opposing fan looking to find out if stories are true about 'bad behavior' can do so,too.

Most of visiting seats are on the East sidelines from about the 15 into the endzone and the SE upper deck.

If you are on the 50...you will not be around UGA foks. They are all in the corner of the south endzone and in the upperdeck. You will be heckled...maybe like you have never been heckled before. Just keep it all in perspective and do not let a few bad apples ruin your day. Most of us tiger fans are gracious, and welcome you to come drink with us. You can TRY to drink with us, but I am sure you wouldnt last long. Anyway, welcome...and GEAUX TIGERS.

Tiger Stadium seating

Sections 401 - 404 are typical visitor sections ... also 641-643 ... I see lots of visitor colors there.

There is a section behind the opposing team's bench, very low, that usually sit staff, player's parents and such. So he will prolly have some UGA fans around him.

Not allergic to the smell or whiskey or the taste. What's the deal with getting booze into the stadium?

Be very careful! They do check at the gate where we enter ... they may not be careful at all gates.

It is easy....the only place they pat you down is the LSU student section. Everywhere else, just put it in your pants or jacket or somwhere that is not suspecious. Dont put it in a girls purse if you are going to have any girls with you. They will search that. But other than that, just scan your ticket and walk on it. From where you say you are sitting, you should have no problems.

They do look for it. So be careful. Unless you are being a dik, if you get caught (and you aren't a student) you will likely not get kicked out. I put mine in a ziplock bag, double bag it.

Sweet. I don't know what time the bus is getting us there. Hopefully early. I'd like to check out Mike and walk around a bit to take some pictures.

You deff need to do some tailgating...the best tailgating in the entire country. I have been to every SEC stadium, Texas games, etc. etc. and nothing compares to tailgating at LSU. It is nuts.

Gotta watch the players Walk Down the Hill ... followed by the Golden Band From Tigerland ... we can come back and post this time info if you want. Yes, it's your opponent BUT it's tradition .. so if you're looking to experience the whole thing, I'd figure out a way to see it!

And....LSU is 441-160-19 in tiger stadium all time. 73% of the time they win. So, you should enjoy yourself before the game!
