#LSU Davon Godchaux worked out with Travonte Valentine "a couple of weeks ago" + says "he's looking pretty good. We'll be glad to have him."
#LSU Davon Godchaux says Travonte Valentine "the ideal size" to play nose guard, thinks he's weighing 330-335 lbs.
The main thing with Travonte is he matured a lot. He matured a lot + is ready to play some football. #LSU Davon Godchaux.

Davon has never seen Valentine on a football field. Don't know how he could praise his high school performance and how it will translate to the SEC. Was there a link?

They didn't practice together in 2014?
-Valentine has practiced/scrimmaged here, multiple players have spoken about going up against him.
-Valentine and Godchaux were same signing class

Nope, TV was cleared by the NCAA but never cleared by the SEC. That is why LSU made sure he would be able to play this year.

He was never cleared to play in a game, but he practiced with the team. So Godchaux has seen him play.
Plus him and Trey L went to the same JUCO. Where Trey was above Valentine, who had pedestrian results against JUCO players. Yet he's assumed to be a 1-and-done at LSU before ever taking a snap here.

You do know that 2014 recruits were freshman in 2014 right? Kind of like Key and Toliver were 2015 recruits starting on our 2015 defense. Valentine playing at a CC in 2015 would be his second year out of highschool.
He was on LSU campus taking classes and practicing with the team during the 2014 season. He was just ineligible to play in games
