I have to call bull shite on this. I venture to say that JB is about where Brady was at Michigan at this point in their respective careers.

And went in the 6th round.

Scouts and coaches are much more on their toes today than they were back then.

Not really. Brady split time throughout his career with drew Hensen and had a shite combine workout. He wouldn’t be breaking a lot of dudes first round mocks if he came into the league today

I get that. I still don't get how Brady (and possibly being on par with him at this stage) is a great example of how someone is outlandish for thinking Burrow won't go first round.

I'm not convinced Brady would be a first round pick coming out this year regardless of how much more "on their toes" coaches and scouts now are. (Although, I would hope they would be able to NOW see him higher than 6th. His perceived lack of athleticism would still ding him.)

I'm not convinced Burrow WON'T be first round, of course.

I think one can easily see Burrow as more athletic, for one.

I wouldn’t take Fromm in the sixth. Dude sucks. Has a huge offensive line and good running backs to take pressure off and he still can’t do shite. Dude doesn’t even scream nfl player.

Tua in the other hand ... impossible to say he isn’t a great college quarterback. I won’t pretend to know what he does at the next level but gun to my head..busts more likely than being good.

Why are y'all so triggered? Its 4 games into the season and we haven't started the real SEC play yet.

Yeah Greg McElroy came on a local radio today and praised tua and never mentioned burrow once when asked about the other good quarterbacks.

Im not sure why people are so up in arms about one guys opinion, whose not even a draft guy in the first place, after 4 games when before the season Burrow wasn’t even on the 1st round radar.

It’s not like he’s saying he’s a bad college QB, he just doesn’t see him as a first round QB, which is entirely possible that he’s not. It’s not a big deal either way.

I don't really get it either. Personally, I don't want Burrow to have anything BUT a huge chip on his shoulder until his last game as a Tiger. Although, I guess I could make an exception for playing two after winning the Heisman.

Personally don’t think Tua will have much success in the pros.

I have a feeling Pollack will come around and will own the mistake when he does. I don't really care much for Jordan Rogers, but he had similar views of Burrow right up into the start of the season and has fully admitted he was wrong and is bigtime on the Burrow bandwagon at this point. I'm sure he'll save a seat for Pollack when David is ready to hop on.

Saying someone isn’t a first round QB isn’t saying they aren’t a good QB.

I think Tua is going to be tough to scout. Below average build, average arm, best Oline and WR corp in the entire country.

He's Kyler Murray without the elite athleticism

ETA - dont get me wrong here...he's a top level college QB, just not sure how its going to translate. He wont get away with half of his ad libs.

He has an elite level arm. Pretty silly to say otherwise.

Okay i guess.

But he went first mostly because of...

elite athleticism

i'm not saying he WON'T be good in the NFL. but if i were a scout, i'd be leery knowing how much better his offensive personnel in college is compared to 98% of all team they play.

Kyler murray? Most of his throws there wasnt a DB within 5 yards of the WR.

1.) Murray was extremely accurate in college no matter what metric you want to use to show it. Questioning that is just silly.

2.) our WRs have been just as open for Burrow.
