Bartoo runs a site that grades college coaches in the FBS and FCS
Bartoo was on the Chuck Oliver show today discussing LSU
Heading into the season, Bartoo’s algorithm pegged the LSU defensive staff as the 214th best in college football.
There are 133 schools in the FBS
Bartoo also serves as a consultant in coaching hires to athletic directors and head coaches

I want to say I heard it right at 214 and not 114.
If it’s really rated 214 that means he had FCS defensive staffs rated higher than LSU’s

I was 100% behind the Kelly hire and was pretty excited about Matt House as DC but the secondary hires were very alarming. I’m not quite as confident in BK after that decision especially considering how it has worked out.

214th out of all of FBS and FCS combined. FBS alone has 133.
No one is saying 214 out of 133. Its really just highlighting that there are several FCS schools with better defensive staff talent.
