Scoob post and PoppaD reply are "right on the money". Well said. Our talent on D is subpar for LSU. Our Defensive coaching has been pitiful and unprepared.

I would say that this year is equivalent to the “one year” for the other coaches. House want bad his first year. The defense and the ability to adjust in the second half helped LSU have the record it did in year one of CBK’s staff.

Brian Kelly did hire and defend Brian Van Gorder for 1.5 seasons of awful defense. But after losing at home to a terrible Duke team he was forced to change his tune and fire him.
