Do you ask this of the posters that do/did nothing but crap on miles and his tenure?

I have before, when Miles was here, yes. But I'm asking you. Will you answer it?

quote:

It's not ripping o when I say he has never run a successful side of the or a successful program. That's reality.

Again, hanging onto facts that are over 10 years old. Dismiss the results when he was an interim coach because it supports your argument.

quote:

I've repeatedly said I think O will be successful.

No, you've said you hope he's successful. There's a difference.

quote:

I don't consider O's interim tenure as running a program because he wasn't running the offense, wasnt running the defense, didnt hire single staff member and didnt recruit any of the stars on the 2016 team.

We were 4 games into the damn season, you suggest he bring in completely new coordinators at that point? There are only 12 games.

quote:

If not running the offense, not running the defense, not hiring a single staff member, not choosing schemes is considered running a program then I've been running programs all my life.

quote:
Like he's destined to fail just from his time at Ole Miss.

I've literally never said this.

quote:
There's no way anyone could learn (gasp) from their mistakes.

I've literally never said this.

Correct but it's what you insinuate in every one of your posts when you mention his name (I've stated that twice now). You're acting like he ran over your dog.

quote:

you choose but an objective person would give him the benefit of the doubt seeing how he has improved as a head coach.

We don't know if he has improved at running a program. Since ole miss he has never coached for more than 8 straight seasons.

Did he or did he not win more games at USC than Kiffin did? It's a yes or no answer.

quote:

He was left a top 5 class.

I'm not talking about what he was left with. I'm talking about what he's currently got that have already signed.

I wouldn't count any coach's 8 game interim as running a program

quote:

No, you've said you hope he's successful. There's a difference.

No I said I think he will be. He was left with talent and has 2 great coordinators.
quote:

were 4 games into the damn season, you suggest he bring in completely new coordinators at that point? There are only 12 games.
no I don't thats why I consider him running the program now because his fingerprints are on the program far more than when he was a dline coach that was given an interim tag.
quote:

I'm not insinuating anything.
At no point have i ever said his tenure at ole miss means he will lose here. I merely state that his time at olemiss and the lack of any coordinator offers means we hired an unqualified head coach. If any other team in the sec had given O a head coaching job she would be laughing at that program. He we blasted Auburn for taking Steele and Steele has a better resume than O.
quote:

Did he or did he not win more games at USC than Kiffin did? It's a yes or no answer.

I give credit to the coordinators actually running the offense and defense and not some position coach that was given the interim tag beva6use 3 of the 4 coordinators at usc and lsu were 4 games into theor tenures at lsu and usc.
quote:

not talking about what he was left. I'm talking about what he's currently got

Then don't say he amassed a great recruiting class. He stepped into the interim position with a top 5 class.

I give credit to O for everything he has done this off season.

That's obvious. It's supports your argument that he's no good. He was an "interim" coach so what does he know, right?

You just said a second ago that he didn't hire anyone else to his staff, basically insinuating that he doesn't know what he's doing.

quote:

I'm not insinuating anything.

The heck you aren't.

This sounds like an opinion. Or even an insinuation.

Yes or no? Don't dance around it like some politician.

quote:

Then don't say he amassed a great recruiting class.

Why not? He has. If he hasn't, what do you give him credit for?

quote:

I give credit to O for everything he has done this off season.

Hiring Canada?

That doesn't support your argument either? Google our current recruiting class and see where it ranks.

What am I missing here...Everyone is excited because he figured out that Bama runs 10-12 plays out of the same formation.

Did he figure out how to stop them? The criticism on Auburn by our fans is that Gus runs the same 3-4 plays out of the same formation.

as of right now he has the worst resume of any sec head coach or sec coordinator. I'm sorry but it's true.

What? I said during his INTERIM TENURE he didn't hire the staff. I'm not insinuating anything. If I feel a certain way, I say it.
quote:

The heck you aren't.

I'm not. Youre using your opinion and acting like its a fact.
If I felt that O's tenure at ole miss means he will suck at lsu, then I would say that.
quote:

This sounds like an opinion.

Do you see the word ,"fact" after that post?
quote:

Yes or no? Don't dance around it like some politician.

Do you still beat your wife? That's the kind of question you ask.
quote:

Why not? He has. That doesn't support your argument either? Google it and get back to me.

I don't have to Google shite. The day miles was fired we had a top 5 class. I give o credit for keeping it together but don't act like he went to a different program and had to form new relationships with the recruits.

And again, his recruiting has never been in question.

Also it's pretty funny watching you say that I dismiss things because they dont fit my argument and in the same post say O' tenure at ole miss is meaningless. Yeah let's forget about the only time he was was running a program for more than 9 weeks.
The above sentence in no way means he won't be successful at lsu. I threw that on there just so you don't start insinuating that im insinuating something.

Still hanging onto something he did over 10 years ago.

He didnt just hire Canada. He made some solid hires this off season and did a good job keeping the class together.

But hang onto what he did at Ole Miss.

Makes sense.

Look, I have nothing personal toward you but you are acting like a huge, I mean HUGE a-hole, and have for a while.

I don't know if it's because Miles isn't here and you wish he was or what. If that's the case, whatever but damn..... You throw darts at anyone who even questions your opinions. And yes, they are opinions.

At no time have i ever said all of my posts are facts.

As far as throwing darts go, we have been disagreeing for pages now. Have I made any personal attacks? We have had a cordial discussion about coach O.
