I've always said....
If Dave Aranda LEFT LSU, it would be for the PROS....

Guess what:
The Chiefs just fired their defensive coordinator...
(think about the FIT)

For Dave Aranda, the BUSINESS PART OF IT:

1) Patrick Mahomes will PUT UP POINTS (guaranteed wins by offense
2) Solid Pass Rush led the league in Sacks
3) No Longer has to recruit
4) Andy would be hands off like "O" is
5) Midwest Living
6) Success, they have the shittiest defense in the league, only ONE way to go is UP

They don't need him to win with defense, they just need someone to IMPROVE it, and Mahomes will OUTSCORE the opponent

Let's see how this plays out? or if it is even a topic!!!

It would be tempting for him I’m sure

No. Dave Arranda will once again be the Defensive Coordinator for LSU next season. I would venture to say we will have him for the next few seasons even.

I'd be willing to bet he's gone

I think Reid probably has a lot more NFL connections that he can choose from over an unproven professional coordinator that Aranda would be.

This guy is basing this off of his complete opinion, and speculation. Not even anyone else, but him. Does the fit make sense? Probably, but if you put it in those terms, then Clemson’s defensive cordinator, Nick Saban, etc. would all be great fits there. Dave will be a Tiger again.

Is he even on their radar? I feel like I only hear about pros nibbling at his feet on this board.

Rumor right now is that Rex Ryan is an option for it. Really hope Aranda stays.

If Aranda leaves, it'll be after next year. This roster is set up for him to have his best defense ever, and I think that'll look better on his already impressive resume.

Aranda isn't leaving for the Chiefs. Aranda's first NFL gig won't be DC for a Super Bowl contender. Chiefs need someone who can halfway match wits with Bill. Aranda is good but not even close to good enough for Bill.

I call bs on this. Bellichek is little more than a freaking cheater who's legacy will one day be unraveled. Play stealing ball deflating cheater.

Name the last college defensive coordinator that went straight to the NFL as a defensive coordinator. It hasn't happened in a long time. There is no current NFL DC that came straight from college.

On the offensive side, it also almost never happens. Sark is the only one in recent memory.

Well in his OWN WORDS, he said he wanted to be a college head coach. Were you not paying attention during bowl week?
