Shitty offense aside, it's so good that Schmidt has had two stellar outings in a row a couple weeks out of SEC play.
Still remains to be seen how his command is when the pressure ratchets up against better hitters in conference, but at least he should have some confidence going into that.

With another game tomorrow, I wouldn’t mind seeing Schmidt run back out there for the 8th. 2-run game, though, he probably won’t. You wanna make sure he feels good about himself after a start like this.
