I wish he would’ve had 1 more year of eligibility. I knows it doesn’t matter know but I think he would have had an awesome highlight reel at LSU As our #1 back

I’m just saying I would have liked to seen him have a year as the starting RB to see what he could have done. I thought he was better than guice. But I’m not a coach ???????

It’s a different story for him. He could have easily been red shirted his true freshman year.
If NB could gain over 1000 yards, imagine what DW could have done. He played really
well as the #2 back behind Guice in 2017

2015

Guice 8.5ypc
Williams 4.9ypc

2016

Guice 7.6ypc
Williams 4.5yc

2017

Guice 5.3ypc
Williams 5.7ypc

Williams was marginally better statistically in rushing for one year but did not compare the other years.

Got to consider junk time where they knew Williams was running the ball too. And he developed more every year

He signed in the same class as LF7 and then the following year Guice and Bro. Darrell is a stud and coach's dream. He's selfless and a football player.

CEH has a LSU support system with him and the badger. Darrel is gonna get touches. Grab him on your fantasy teams, especially if you have CEH.

The presence/absence of Fournette has an effect on those statistics.

I've been saying this for a few years now, DW is going to quietly have a great NFL career. He deserves more praise than he gets, but seems to thrive under the radar.

Flies under the radar and has at all levels, HS, college and pros.

Out rushed LF7 in high school their senior year and hardly anybody noticed. He was one of our last commits. Many on here doubted he would be pro because he was a career back up.
