Can't get here soon enough.

I'm looking forward to this season. I think both LSU and the Saints could make some noise.

You must suck at math. 4th out of 14 is not in the middle. I bet "greater than or equal to" really kicked your butt. You got the wrong guy questioning my math. Question your own. 4 teams finished better than LSU OA. So LSU wasn't 4th. They were 5th. LSU finished 6th in the SEC standings and 5th for overall record. Out of 14 teams, that is easily in the middle of the pack. Top-middle for sure, but still middle.

Actually the statement was that 10 win seasons is not middle of the pack. You responded with the fact that 4 teams finished with 10 wins last season as to say that's middle of the pack.

So at worst of these 4 of the 10 win teams last season would not be middle of the pack. I never said LSU was the 4th team. And for a math genious you keep using 1 season examples as an average for the current program rather than a grouping of seasons.

OP was about top tier.

Actually the OP stated that DK said LSU was middle tier and Bama, Auburn, and SC were all top tier. So math and reading comp. And since you brought up 2013 what was Auburn's record in 2013 since that is an important for you to bring it up to mention LSU was 6th.

I did not.

I said 4 teams finished with more wins than 10.

Again. LSU was 5th in wins.

You questioned my math you blowhard. I even stated LSU's record the last 15 years stands on it's own.

You're typical for this board. Too busy typing, can't read, spell, comprehend or take ownership.

You say my math needs help in multiple posts when in fact, your math and compression is terribly poor. Then when I defended my math, you ignore it and decide to deride me by using the old "math genious ".

Enjoy the knuckle-dragging.

Third and forth in the secw the last few years is middle tier.

I believe we were 2nd and 3rd in the West the last two years.

As for the guy's comments - it's debatable. We were in the middle last year. However, we were the only team to beat Auburn until the NC game (we beat their azz too) and had two 3-point losses on the road along with the Bama loss.

South Carolina is a very good team and a top tier team in the East, but how many SEC Championships have they won recently...or ever? Exactly. And they haven't played Bama, Auburn or aTm in the last few years. That makes a difference. LSU beat South Carolina head-on when we played in 2012.

but if you look at our bottom line, as much as I hate to say it, but we are middle tier, lately

we finished 1st in 2011
we finished 4th in 2012
we finished 5th in 2013

Those are conference finishes.

There are only two teams with a better record than us over the last three years.

conference ranking last 3 years (with conference championships included)

Bama 22-3
LSU 20-5
UGA 19-7
USCe 18-6
UF 13-11

We HAVE NOT been a middle tier team at all.

We are one of only 4 teams who have not lost more than 3 conference games in a single season, over that stretch either.

Who is that? Not LSU, and Auburn would be lucky to have that.

We have been 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the west the past 5 years.

Since Miles has been here, we have been 1st, 3rd, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the West.

Some years finishing third in the West meant 4th in conference, in 2008, it meant 7th which is only one of two middle tier finishes in the conference in Miles tenure. Even in 2009 we finished second in the divison and 3rd in the conference.

Last year we tied with UGA in conference but the head to head would go to them even though we had the better overall record. That's why we were sixth in conference instead of fifth.

Let them run their mouth, doesn't bother me one bit. I just hope someone throws this in their face when they are proven wrong. And someone please let the players see what these clowns are saying about them...

IMO 2nd-3rd in the west means that we are anywhere from 3rd to 6th in the sec overall. That's middle of the pack.

Since college football teams play 12 games and a bowl. 10-3 in my opinion is not elite.

I listened to the segment today and 99% of y'all are retarded. He was talking about this year only and right now he is right. He said right now for this year he sees us right behind auburn and bama who he considers the top teir in the west this year and he considers usc the top in the east. Wtf is wrong with that statement or is untrue at this tine? Please tell me because I agree with him. Hopefully we win the west but right now if I had to pick I would have us finishing third.
