Danny Kanell and Greg McElroy are complete jokes.

Kanell has Clemson at 1 over LSU while dropping Bama to 8 while McElroy is still crying about yesterday because he gives LSU no respect for beating Bama by leaving them at 2 with Ohio State at 1. Meanwhile of course he keeps Bama at 4 even after a loss. How do these clowns have jobs?

McElroy isn't terrible. But Kanell is, hands down, the worst college football "analyst" of all time.

Kanell dug in hard earlier this year with "you have to keep the defending champs #1 until they lose" and he's a huge SEC hater so that shouldn't be a surprise.

Dropping Alabama only one spot after a loss is not justified.

They know if they put LSU at number 1 then no one is going to be in favor of Alabama getting the #4 spot because you’d be gifting Alabama a second chance. If LSU is a 2 seed then it’s Ohio State-Alabama in the first round which people will somehow more easily justify.

Somebody should let Kanell know that half of the defending champ’s defense is now in the NFL before he tries to figure out why they can’t stop LSU or Ohio State in the CFP.
