The only thing I can figure is he took the op to mean it is Nuss’ “fault” that Howard is leaving. Like Nuss should have done something differently.
Obviously that’s not what the op says at all, it just logically points out that Howard’s concern wasn’t that Daniels would be around for one more season it is that Nuss will be around for 2-3 more.
