Any coach that would sit the better QB next year for a chance at a title in 3 years is a horrible coach. This is the SEC. The goal is to win now, not sabotage your season hoping to do better later.

It’s like people think LSU should try to improve its draft position and develop rookies.

Apparently a large majority of the fan base is okay with throwing away a future shot at a title just to watch JD throw for 80 yards a third and fourth time

You mfs are so damn stupid. BK gets payed MILLIONS to win games he knows wtf he’s doing. He’s literally incentivized to win, if he thinks a qb gives them a better chance to win he’ll play them. And I promise you you don’t know better than him.

You have a Top 5 coach now so STFU let him do his job and enjoy the wins

The plan should have always been Nuss next season (with Walker getting significant backup playing time) and Howard starting the year after.

And Nuss was just going to agree to step aside and let Howard take over in 2024?

Are we banned from recruiting any other QBs now?

Do you think Howard should start at LSU this season?

This is an exact description of Jayden Daniels.

So, Howard was going to be developed sitting on the bench behind Nuss, but Daniels is not going to develop in his second year as a starter in the same system. Got it.

5 star QBS bust all the Time. Quinn Ewers was supposed to be a god amongst men based on his ranking and he ain’t shite. The coaching staff watches them everyday they make decisions based on information you don’t have so stfu and let them do their job because YOU DONT KNOW shite

I think Howard would have been fine being 2nd string, but not 3rd. And I agree, this just puts more pressure and potential frustration on Daniels.

You stupid motherfricker.

quote:

it’s not realistic to expect a 5* QB to stay around until junior year seeing no playing time

This has what to do with Daniels?

quote:

You just threw away your future (a Louisiana native) in exchange for a transfer QB who threw for less than 90 yards twice in a fricking season.

Was that the exchange? One more year of Daniels to lose Howard, who will be a freshman next year? Also, LSU has a 4 star coming in this year and another 5 star qb committed fricking idiot.

I genuinely hope people will look back on this post and laugh at it with Daniels winning the Heisman or some shite next season. It’ll be worth having JD coming back for one more season if we can significantly improve on this year. I’ll be the first to acknowledge and I’ll eat crow

I genuinely hope people tell you to go frick yourself on every post you make.

Nuss is a 4 star with elite intangibles and questionable decision making with his interceptions.

JD just feels like he’s hit his ceiling. His games against Auburn, Arkansas and Tenn were all you needed to see. The guy refuses to throw down field unless he’s playing a group of 5 team

Howard was on different level in terms of his potential. Certainly good enough to throw for more than 80 yards in a game. I don’t think the scouting team for multiple recruiting sites would’ve rated him highly, if they thought he was only good enough to be a 3rd string QB

Lol imagine watching the Arkansas game from The bench then the next week running scout team and being given no chance to even be coached by the offensive coaches.

Imagine wasting a scholarship on Walker Howard who just isn’t good enough for SEC.

You don’t know this. Howard could be a complete disaster at QB. Many highly rated high school QBs are once they get to the college level.

Genuine question, what are you basing that Walker will end up being better than Jayden off of? Or even that he’ll be better than Nuss?

I’m not even a big Jayden fan, but why are you so sure that Walker will be better than him?

So you admit you’re basing this meltdown on his recruiting ranking. His projection from 247 was a day 2 draft pick. So, maybe not quite on a different level from Daniels and Nuss.

What does Daniels have to do with a third string freshman?

Maybe the third stringer thinks he should be first stringer.
I don't blame a kid for wanting to go and be a starter. I wish him success.
He probably has assurance that he can be in competition for starter.
He and Nuss probably won't transfer to the same university.
