Obviously they brought up OBJ and Juice, but they went on to mention La'el Collins and Jeremy Hill. They mentioned that Odell and Jarvis are record holders at this point for having the most catches in history for players in their first two years out of college. Went on to talk about having all of these guys on the same team, and it's a family show, but you can tell they wanted to say, "Holy shite what a group." They have obviously been going on and on about how people can't get enough of Odell. Good publicity for LSU and I hope that potential recruits are influenced by it.
Either they or you dropped the ball on the Honey-badger. U no mention Honey-badger, me no care.

Just not the ones that mattered most.
Thanks Les.
So when they win its because of the players, but when they lose, its because of the coach.
Got it.

Georgia would've put up 50 had gurley not sprained his ankle in the 2nd quarter

I just meant that even though we won the SECCG, getting smoked by Bama in the NCG kind of makes it feel like we didn't really win the conference.
Well, they didn't win the conference either. They finished THIRD.
Does that make you feel better?

No doubt a coach worth his salt would have been in the mix till late November with all that talent, if not play for it all.
Look back at 05 and o6 and the nfl talent on those teams also.
07 Lsu was loaded and Miles would have blown that also, but was soooo lucky to get in with 2 losses.
it never happen before in the bcs era.

All said by the same media that was in shock when LSU wanted to fire CLM.

you can't enjoy football without a national championship idk what to tell you. Saban is better than miles (and everyone), plain and simple. And we can't have him, and we have to beat him (sometimes twice) to get the hardware

want to win badly too. But when I think back about years like that I appreciate how special it was rather than bitch that we didn't win the NC. You know in 100+ years of tiger football we officially* have 3 NCs right?
You have completely and 100% bought into the media's rhetoric when it comes to LSU. I feel sorry for you.

I dont need a NC every year.
However, when you have the most players playing in the nfl.
I dont want to start in the top 12 win all the games that dont matter and get to top 5.
Then when it comes to the teams with as much talent and coaching matters, LOSE.
I can take losing in big games sometimes, but Have some lead changes, use the talent at the skill positions.
dont have 150 yrds in penelties.
Look like you are adjusting to what is happening on the field.
Dont have the same damn game plan game in game out.
earn your damn check, coach.
Take care of all the little things and the Natty will follow.
Miles is not capable of that.

Unto whom much is given, much shall be expected.
Les* at least twice (that we know of) extorted/negotiated raises & extensions and prohibitive buy-out clauses by dalliances with other programs (Michigan in '07 & Arkansas in '12).
Let's not pretend that Miles is some innocent nice guy.
*I know his agent was involved but Les has always had ultimate control of the agent.

Did I once mention my stance on getting a new coach? Or are you just full of assumptions
I simply stated when I look back on the 13 season I see it as a special/fun season rather than bitch about not winning a NC, same w 01. I would have been fine with hiring jimbo by the way.
You have completely bought into the tigerdroppings rhetoric that Baton Rouge is gods gift to planet earth and anyone would come here in a second, and anyone could win titles on a yearly basis. I feel sorry for you

So you can't stand not winning NCs with the most players in the NFL? FYI there are players in the league that have an NC at LSU, and a lot more that played for another.
Who do you blame for having the most players in the league? Go look at how many aren't from LA.
27 of our 30 coaches at LSU didnt have NCs. They didn't have the most players in the league either, I'm sure that could be arranged again so anything but #1 won't be a bad memory for some of you.
The penalties I have no excuse for I'm with you on that one.
I'm not turning this into a pro miles thread. Just saying we aren't going to win championships every year, it's ok to have enjoyed a season like 13 even though we didn't, it's ok... Lol
