Probably anywhere but under O. Plus sometimes you need to make one step back to spring ahead in your career just like Kiffin.

Why now is he going to be interested in taking a HC job at a small football school, not just in the deep south, but in south LA which might as well be a foreign land to him?

Because you can't get gas station boudin balls, that taste like a little slice of heaven, in the fricking Midwest. He has found his special purpose.

Seriously, I think he has more to finish at LSU and would like to see him stay. If he leaves though, he becomes Tiger Bait.

Head coach at oo la la is a step down from OC LSU. His next move should be as HC of a school at bottom of P5 conference. This only makes sense as a survival move if he is on outs with O.

This could explain Canada’s moving around a lot.

It sounds alot like ed orgeron has hinted to canada that he needs to look elsewhere and try to find another job. It really sounds like orgeron is nudging canada to look for employment elsu where so he doesn't have to fire him. I think orgeron isn't too wild about canadas presnap approach and it's a little bit too much for O and the offense he wants to implement in his program. I'm not very big on canadas scheme either. I want to see a more traditional pro style offense and a little less of the antics canadas offense entails. If canada does leave, hugh freeze would be a good hire at oc for LSU, at least I believe he would. He could actually have a legitimate run game at LSU too to lean on along with his passing game...something he didn't have at ole miss. Freeze could be dangerous with the players we have and will continue to have at LSU.

I think Canada would be making a mistake taking that job. ULL is a place HC's go to die. and ULL would be sorry they hired him also; his main goal would be to get out of there. Canada may be a guy who isn't happy anywhere he goes.

I hope we keep him another year or two. I saw great promise in our offense and great progression during the year. we need a QB better suited to run it but with our OL improving (esp if Clapp stays) and we recruit more power backs I can see us improving our results next year, esp with our defense being stronger.

That would be a pathetic look for LSU in so many ways. I just can't see this happening

Get real. No one outside of south LA would bat an eye at the LSU OC taking a head job at a lesser school. Kiffin, one of the biggest characters in CFB, went from Bama to FAU and it was a story for about two commercials.
