I would think you liberals would totally support these players. After all, it was liberal congress members that got us into this mess

What you are demanding with your logic is that Wright decline a "shot" at continuing to play the game he loves because of the possibility that the NCAA's declaring him ineligible might get overturned in time to allow him to play another season of college football.
How absurd are you?
You are fixated on the fact that he was compensated. Seriously, the Texas Center did the exact same thing but was unable to get a team to sign him and we're going to differentiate it on the fact that Wright got paid. You realize that both Hutson and Wright are seeking to play in college TO GET PAID.
The reality is, the NCAA screwed this up by arbitrarily excluding the class of 2022, which the court found to be arbitrary and then trying to act like because the players didn't just give up on football they can still keep them out. They are going to get poured out in court on Thursday.
