play a 2 game schedule all year
Looked at their schedule for next year, toughest game is Notre Dame. South Carolina or Syracuse is probably next toughest.

I hated Spurrier when he was at Florida because he won AND always talked. They are the same people

Clemson beating OSU was a miracle.
OSU totally blew that game.

The contrast between Dabo and Ed, in this regard at least, couldn't be more stark.
Dabo loves to play the disrespect card, which can (and has) been effective for him in the past. Look at last year's title game, one in which most thought Bama would win.
On the other hand, CEO follows a different path, one more aligned with the supreme confidence in his team's preparation and abilities. Very much in line with the cool confidence that marked the Jimmy Johnson and Pete Carroll teams he was on that, win or lose, hit the field supremely confident in their abilities.
Is one way inherently better than the other? Depends on a few factors, but I think Ed's approach works better overall when you have a truly talented team. The whole "woe is us" routine rings a bit hollow when you're a yearly CFP participant and defending national champ.
Don't lie to your players. If your team sucks, say you suck and that you need to improve (which Ed has in the past); if you're dominant and have prepared and then execute to the "LSU standard of performance", own that, too, and carry yourself with the swagger and confidence such hard work generates.
Finally, Dabo could play the underdog card against the living legend in Tuscaloosa and have it be effective with his team; he can't do so effectively against someone who started from the bottom and busted his arse to get to this game.

Imagine how bad the cuck will be if they happen to pull off a miracle and beat LSU. The world will never hear the end of it. They'll be people in the fricking Congo like, "Jesus Christ shut the frick up already you Alfred E. Neuman looking mother fricker!"

He’s scared and trying to convince his team they are relevant and will use every card to try to convince and motivate them for the game. Using everything he can to motivate his team. How about just the fact you are in the big game.
