Literally what I’ve been arguing for days.
People will now say BK is wrong

Clemson DBs clubbed LSU WRs all game. They're fortunate Nuss on a conservative night didn't put up 300+ yards on them.

Explain to us how that no TD is the correct call. He caught it 1-2 yards before the end zone, got full possession no bobbling of the ball, ran it in for 1-2 yards with no question on possession of the ball, fell down in the back of the end zone, then dropped it when ground knocked it loose. Explain to me how this is not a TD like I'm 5?
The play is over when he hits the white mark/pylon because it's TD at that point with full possession of the ball. Unless this rule was changed in the off season this is a clear TD. Even the rules guys said the refs are wrong.
You'd have an argument if Brown never maintained full possession of the ball which there was no doubt he immediately pulled it in on a threaded perfect should pass. BK is probably just saying that so refs don't go after LSU since it was an SEC crew. That was not what the call was on the field. Pretty much everyone disagrees with Dabo and BK.

Hope he realizes that his defense got away with a ton of no calls for defensive holding, pass interference and unsportsmanlike conduct. Kept them in the game that LSU dominated. Won’t be so lucky next game with a different referee crew.

If you are going to the ground as you make the catch, you must maintain control through the ground.
That's it. Endzone irrelevant. Steps irrelevant.

He wasn't going to the ground until he caught it, made several defined "football" moves, then went down when the play was already over. That's a TD because he wasn't contested going to the ground until after he made the catch and was going down. I've seen way less called TDs practically everywhere in NCAA.
To further prove that call was inconsistent and not correct, our TE fumbled the ball early in the game with less football move than Brown did on securing that catch and then falling in the back of the end zone. That further means that play was over before he even got into the end zone because he had full possession, ball touches pylon/line, play is over immediately. TD. If it was contested as soon as he caught it and was going down, he would've needed to maintain possession but it wasn't like that at all.
The catch wasn't contested until the play was already over when he hit the white line/pylon with full possession of the ball. Play over, TD. This is how it's called practically everywhere in the NCAA. That call was terrible plain and simple.

Brown was probably falling forward when he first touched the ball. It’s close. Judgment call. But when you hit the ground two steps later, it’s not unreasonable.

Sharp clearly secured the ball and then took two steps before the fumble. He wasn’t falling.

Easy call, but he sure did bitch about that PI on his DB for clearly holding the LSU WRs jersey for 5-10 yards.

He also said something to the effect that both teams did not pass the first exam. LSU scored a 65 and they scored a 58. He knows the fan base is on him bc they have not done well in season openers the last few years. His teams do not do well against competition against other Power 4 conferences namely the SEC.

Wow that’s a shocker. Dabo can lie to himself all he wants but he knows deep down LSU should’ve won by two touchdowns like the rest of the country believes.
