I really don’t know but wouldn’t surprise me either way. They have all the advantages to outbid any other team in the country as LSU does. It hurts to say but their venue is on another planet as Alex Box. Went to both back to back weekends earlier this season and the difference was insane. Hopefully the upcoming renovations change that

Moscona has repeatedly been saying that Jay Johnson is lobbying for LSU to be sent out west.

Probably a little bit of that and he thinks those teams are weaker than the SEC or ACC teams. I don’t blame him, I’m just saying that because usually LSU fans are too happy whenever the NCAA sends us out west.

If he’s right (and I’m not saying he is) then we may get sent out West. Jay lobbied for some stuff last year and got what he wanted.

If true and Jay gets his way then it will be UCSB, Oregon State, or Arizona.

No like he lobbied last year to have a Pac 12 team sent here as a 2 seed and for Nicholls to not be sent here.

I have no idea how much influence coaches/schools may or may not have on the committee and I’m not going to pretend to know. I do know that the son of the NCAA selection committee chair is employed by LSU baseball though.

LSU doesn’t need to play games in any location to recruit. This isn’t 1997 where you have to search for college baseball.
