Did Coach LM hurt Byrd's NFL stock by running a vanilla offense and/or not pulling J. Lee earlier?

I think D Byrd is good, but I don't expect him to have a great pro career, although I wish him well.

he has big play potential with his 4.3 speed. He has experience returning kicks too. so i think he'll be fine.

There will be some team that will take a chance with him if he puts up good numbers at the combine. NFL likes to draft potential.

Byrd hurt himself by being a bitch. If he would have went out ran his routes hard and played as hard as he could regardless of the quarterback he would have helped himself. Pro scouts aren't blind. They did see that LSU played with not so good quarterbacks at the beginning of the season, but they also saw that Byrd is a crybaby and pretty much gave up on his team.

J. Lee just got comfortable with Lafell in Auburn. That just happens with a young QB. No ones fault. Byrd got frustrated and didn't handle it all too well. He'll be fine though, and he'll have a good NFL career

Just imagine.....a world where a Senior wideout would work Harder to support his Freshman QB. Maybe running better routes, throwing a block, a pat on the back when times or down, a good attitude, a team first mentality. May even help the freshman QB play a bit better, knowing the senior had his back (probably not in JL case, but who knows)

Or you could act like a jackass.

Byrd chose the later.

Facts

1) Lafell>Byrd
2) Les didn't hurt Byrd's stock. If the offense had hurt Byrd it should have hurt Lafell. It didn't he had a great year despite questionable QB play
3) Lee didn't hurt Byrd's stock. Byrd hurt Byrd's stock by half assing his routes all year long.

D. Byrd? are you kidding me?? He was part of the damn prob this yr. He refused to block, tiptoed around piles, and freakin JOGGED routes!!
Today's world, always someone else's fault....

LM threw Byrd under the bus after a loss (Ga?) and it hurt everyone. We never know what goes on in a locker room but I think Byrd may have done his share of messin with the program.
