I saw a poster question the ability of the pitching to get it done, and he got ridiculed endlessly for it. I always figured we didn't have the pitching to do it.

I wouldn't say failure but I describe it as fools gold. We hid our deficiencies well until we couldn't anymore and they were on full display this week.

This is all I am going to say about baseball. I don't blame the pitching so much but again bats go silent. See 2010 in ucla regional, 2012 at home against stony brook, 2013 at CWS and then at home last year against Houston. We need to recruit guys that can hit the long ball. See Florida.
