Well, some are happy with doing well in the SEC...and getting a national seed. Bragging about PM's record.
If LSU goes on to lose this game, they will have had 1 win in Omaha in 6 years......1. Go ahead and name the other schools in the SEC that have had more wins in Omaha during that period? It would be a long list.
People try to compare this to football. It isn't the same. LSU has top recruits, literally, top facilities, and top fan support......While they have all of that in football, there are many others that also have that in football. In baseball, LSU is in a league of its own...or should be. At some point, you can't keep resting on a past accomplishment. Do you not think with everything else being equal that there aren't many coaches that, given the same recruits/facilities/fans, that PM has, couldn't have done just as good or better than PM?
