The team LSU has defeated in the Supers in 23 and 25 made the CWS the following year.
LSU eliminated Kentucky in '23 and they went on to Omaha in '24.
LSU eliminated West Va in '25 and they are now in Omaha this year.
Just an observation.

I saw something that said of the 24, 25, and 26 CWS, only North Carolina has been in more than one. So 23/24 teams are different in all three years.
But yeah, the expectation should be to go every single year.

I loosely set my bar here for a 5 year period.
Regional appearance- 5/5
Regional host - 4/5
Super Regional Appearances - 3/5
And thats where I end the bar. I figure if you make it to a super 3 times, chances are likely you make it to Omaha 1, or 2 of those times. So that would mean 2-4 CWS trips every 10 years. And hopefully you win at least one.
Of course, when you do something like win national titles 2 times in 3 years it gives you some wiggle room. It sucks we didnt make a Regional, and thats below my bar, but its not a concern based on the above.
