Yes. Home runs are up across the board at every stadium. Good catch.

The balls were more juiced the last 2 years. And the wind is blowing in more so far this year. Homers are down 10%. Expect alot less homers.

You said that in the other thread as well. It’s just not true. The SEC had 6 teams with over 100 homers last year. The NCAA hasn’t even released HR totals for 2024

He’s talking about Omaha specifically.

The ncaa website has homer totals for all teams listed by date. I added them all up for the last 3 years after the regular season. Unless the ncaa stats are wrong

There's stats on the NCAA website for last year that anyone can pull up. They don't have to release anything.

Then you go through all D1 teams to find the totals since you have nothing to do

Why are you being a dick about it? I already copied and pasted the data in excel and summed it up. The work is done

Thru the end of the regular season each year
2022
15,741 homers
52.295 homers per team
0.995 homers per game

2023
18, 696 homers
61.3 homers per team
1.127 homers per game

2024
19,165 homers
62.836 homers per team
1.154 homers per game

2025
17,390 homers
56.644 homers per team
1.0457 homers per game

Straight from the NCAA. They have also gone up in Omaha

Im not sure what point you are trying to make with old data, that doesnt include 2024 or 2025. Ive already shown the numbers increased in 2023 and 2024….and decreased this season. Which is my point

And the numbers are different than mine because they they used a different finish date most likely.

If you need to wait till the end of omaha this season to prove it, then wait. There wont be 30 homers

Your point is that you think something has changed with the balls the last two years because HR are down slightly which I disagree with. Charlie Condon just hit 37 last year. Cags hit 35 . 6 SEC teams hit over 100. 5 over 100 this year. 1 year isn’t a trend. We can agree to disagree. Let’s go beat Arky’s arse. Cheers

But its not really arguable that homers decreased this year lol. If you think 17,000 games and 17,000 homers is too small of a sample…okay, i guess we can agree to disagree
