Accomplished championships? if that's what you mean get over it. NFL don't care.
NFL doesn't care about college stats either. I can post a laundry list of those examples if you would like.

Then you're not much of an LSU fan if you have no problem with players leaving to the detriment of the TEAM. Their careers and financial situations after leaving LSU are not my problem or concern.
you are piece of shite
this is absolutely pathetic

if he pans out, will be highly desired by San Fran in year 5
If any player pans out they will be highly desired by teams.

Big Sam flamed out. If he would have had a chance to improve his stock just by 1 round, he could have doubled his signing bonus
Didn't he sign with the Raiders?
These kids aren't leaving because they want a nice bonus in the NFL. They are leaving because they want the big money "when" they make it in the league. Good luck convincing a kid he should come back to get a higher signing bonus because he won't be in the league long. 99% of football players think they will have a 10 year career.

Calm down.
You left out the part of my post I was responding too "Production is not a gauge of draft projections. It isn't a hard concept."
I think we are in agreement.

Exactly. What college QB has accomplished more than AJ McCarron? Why is the 8th ranked QB and a 3rd round projection?

Still blows my mind Wing left. I know he hated school and had a kid on the way. But man, is rather be struggling in school than unemployed.

The miles butt hurt basher brigade has moved the goal posts from not developing nfl talent to now having too many players leaving for the nfl.
What a bunch of morons.

I'd also like some of these geniuses to tell us if LSU really recruits itself. Because it seems like when we have great talent it is never because of the coaching staff or great recruiting (because everyone knows LSU recruits itself and anybody can win with that talent), but when we don't sign every top 10 player from LA it's the staff's fault for fricking up recruiting.
Please tell us gurus, which is it? You can't have it both ways!

Saban has this polished down to a science.
you jerked off to that article, didn't you?

Going back to my (OP) original assertion that Les and staff need to have better talking points/approach with our players, see the link.
So because Saban comes out publicly with a statement, that obviously means Les doesn't use the same talking points?
Also from that article it sounds like Saban is more worried this year about losing underclassmen than ever before. If his sales pitch doesn't work do you still say Miles needs a better approach?

And what would've those talking points mean for Ford and Ware been? Hey, guys, Jeremy Hill will be the starter and most RBs are drafted after the 4th round anyway but you need to have a want to come back instead of signing a $2 million contract so that combined you can make up 2/6 of our RB stable.

And Hilliard probably sees the writing on the wall with LF and Magee. Might as well try to earn a roster spot and a check.
I could honestly see him moving to a fullback role now that Copeland is gone.
It might make more sense for him

2 things you ignore: those jumping early actually get paid next year vs playing for free in college and they'll hit that next contract earlier so compare their next contract to their original for a truer comparison.

Why don't you provide us proof of what Miles is or isn't doing...then we could answer the question
LSU loses talent to the NFL but I don't see it as a bad thing
Just reload

I don't get the sudden undrafted vs 3rder argument.....none of the dudes leaving are gonna go undrafted.....

Yes, because having players that can play in the NFL on a college team is directly linked to going undefeated and winning the national Championship every year. Dumbass.
Works for Alabama

The arguement is 2nd through 6th round money.
