First game of season Tigers will in no way be up to their best lucky ducks.otherwise another SEC beat down.

They are for real. They beat us worse then any other team at our Stadium in our total history. But doubt them as we also did, your choice.

You have to put down the crack pipe and realize that your QB there is going to have to throw the ball. There's no getting around it.

Well, I think you will be surprised at LSU's ability to run. We never have a shortage of punishing running backs. We consistently win games in the toughest conference in America but running the ball. If we run for a hundred yards (and I don't really see you guys being able to contain Ware), LSU will win. The other X factor is Jordan Jefferson himself. I know that he has had issues passing in the past... but one thing he has never had an issue with is making yards on the scramble or designed QB run plays. I think it will be a close game with both teams scoring more than 20 points - but LSU wins by 3 - 7 points. You just will not be able to contain us in the forth quarter.

Brah, what you guys smoking down there? I thought we had the best stuff.

Freak, your true frosh DT, is going to dominate the game.

I've seen such remarks here -- not quite sure where all that LSU offense is going to come from, but, who knows.

Who here thinks LSU is gonna whip Oregon's arse bad?

35 - 17 ...

I am a seed where these thoughts first sprang
I am the great poet for whom all her birds sang
LSU will whip Oregon arse this much will be true
Because there is no defense in America like LSU

We will hear the ... women(see the link)

I would rather run at Freak than east and west.

early prediction: 31-21

Our fan base claimed we would destroy UDub by 40, beat the dog shite out of UNC. There are a lot of delusional folks out there. I am thinking LSU in this game by 6.

LSU doesn't give many beat downs. Les won't allow it. Les wants opponents to think they are going to win, right before he takes their soul.

Right now it is way too early for predictions. My first thought is LSU in a close one and low scoring.

However, much can happen in fall camp.

Kinda how I see it. LSU hasn't played that well vs inferior competition the last two openers. Not sure how they will fare vs much better competition (Oregon)

I expect a close hard fought game.

Oregon has a very good team with big game experience so I don't expect them to fold up their tent once they get punched in the mouth a few times.

I think this game will come down to a few key plays going one way or the other and special teams play. I just don't see this game being a blow out for either team.

If LSU wins by 1 point I will be happy.

Most fans point to Oregon's record against good teams. Remember, Chip has done a lot with less and now the cupboards are full. We should finally have an oline that rotates more than 7, a capable back up at qb, and some speed at the WR position. Likewise, LMJ won't have to carry the load.

Our defensive line is finally not undersized and our linebackers are top tier. We haven't had all of this...ever.
