I agree

My only points are: they shouldn't have been there in the first place + they shouldn't have put their hands on anyone for any reason.

I'm not "rushing to condemn" anyone.

Not sure why everyone is getting all defensive when Coach Miles would say himself that players shouldn't break curfew and they shouldn't put their hands on anyone for any reason.

If it wasn't a marine and someone else, would that make a difference?

They shouldn't have put their hands on ANYONE regardless of the situation

Its not the douchebag "marine" that has the vertebrae problem.

Not sure which is worse, your opinions on this topic or your love of RAPElesberger

Okay. I guess I'm the only one who isn't ultra defensive of LSU athletes who break curfew and get in fights

Not sure how you can defend what went down, but whatever

Should they have been there? No
Should they have physically touched anyone unless their lives were in danger? No

^^ Not sure how y'all continue to argue those points

I have no love for Roethlisbeger the person. Please post threads where I've praised anything Ben's done off the field.

The difference is that you are doing exactly what everyone is sick of people doing. Making statements based on rumors, and using no facts. Throwing in the "Marine" part is just your way of flaming the fire. It's obvious. And people in here are getting sick of it.

You clearly don't have accurate information. Why come here and flame then?

How mnay times must it be stated: CURFEW IS A JOKE, AND SKIPPING IT ON THAT NIGHT HAS BEEN A TRADITION SPANNING DECADES AND MULTIPLE COACHES

Again, im all for punishment when the time is right. But there are so many conflicting stories, nobody knows who to punish.

He's been told this multiple times, Nico...if he repeats it again he ought to be banned for simply being a dullard.

All I'm doing is not condoning the fact that they were breaking curfew and in an altercation. I've probably repeated myself ten times, but you still think I'm condoning these players. Not sure how this is flaming.

Ok curfew three weeks before gameday is a football punishment. They should be rolled, and ran. Which i have heard has happened. You don't suspend someone for it.

So the fight is the only thing that should be discussed and there really is no concrete evidence, and honestly JJ isn't beloved, Johns isn't known, Jarvis is young enough to suffer a suspension, and Davenport is never going to see the field. Sure we are over protective, but it is mostly because there is no reason to suspend them yet. Innocent until proven guilty.

So breaking curfew is a joke to Miles and his staff? That's hard to believe. I find it hard to believe they want their players at bar rooms at 2 in the morning.

You people are missing the point. I'm not calling for a suspension because they broke curfew. I'm saying if they didn't break curfew they would have never been in this situation
