actually, his injury history is a reason to finish this year.
the NFL knows he hasn't played a complete season healthy yet and he may want to put one of those on his resume.

Or add to the injury history and make it worse

I'm a huge TM fan and this is incredibly disappointing. There's 3 freaking games left, you just stated a week ago you felt the need to step up and address the team and now you quit?

So he has nothing to prove? How about proving he's a real leader that will stand with this team through the tough times? 3 games and then declare. Otherwise it's quitting on your team. There's no other way to look at it.

At this point, what’s the meaningful difference? Be honest.

I'm not saying your statement is right or wrong, I would simply ask, how old you are? Not trying to bash, just trying to get a sense of whether the dividing line between those who believe he's quitting on his team and those who feel it's right decision has anything to do with age.

He made a commitment to play the season. There are 3 games left on the schedule. But, he's quitting because the team sucks. That makes him a quitter.

Giving the true freshman QBs an experienced WR to throw to so that LSU might be able to compete on some level (though minimal at this point) while also building their confidence.

The only legitimate reason to stop playing is so he doesn't risk injury.

In a covid year where your team is 3-4. I would say TM Jr is making the right decision for his future

I wish him the best

IMO, and yes I know everyone has one and mine is of no importance, this appears to be a situation where players have lost faith in the coaching staff. Something is wrong, and it's not just the play on the field.

This is a culture problem, not a x's and o's problem, and until it's fixed, LSU can have all the top five recruiting classes it wants, but it won't do much good.
