Please tell me that you are kidding. Have you not learned that the tv clock is unofficial. Listen to Lyn Rollins. The tv clock shows 2 seconds, but Lyn Rollins says the stadium clock has 1 second. They adjusted the clock to the correct time. The tv clocks are always off a little.

Agree, something like that.
After thinking about it for a while, which LSU didn't have, we should have just ran the FG team out there and tried to kick it. It was pretty bad.

Let's just say I have been defending Miles this whole weekend, and it looked like he was saying to clock it or spike it.

Very clear, It looked like clock it to me but he's repeating "____ It" while doing the spiking motion. I didn't record it and accidentally changed the channel so I can't rewind it. I'm sure someone will put it on youtube.

It's in HD, which is much better than Cauble's video. I thought I read "clock it" off his lips. Either way, it definitely wasn't "he's down."

BB, people were saying that the CST broadcasters mentioned that they clearly saw Miles call for the spike as well as Joxy(wafb)...when nothing else came of this I dropped that evidence but now it seems to have some legs. Interesting.

Yes. Miles is about to take some heat this week during interview, redio shows, press conferences, etc.
But if we can beat Arkansas and win our bowl, then a 10-3 record and a good finish could take almost all of that heat off and put all of the attention on the 2010 season. As long as we can get rid of Crowton, I am still confident in the team and Miles next year.

They'll use the "oh well he thought there was more time on the clock and then tried to call for the fg when he realized there wasn't" argument...totally forgetting that the whole issue about all this is Miles denies having called for a spike at all

I've never liked the guy since the Tennessee '05 debacle and that's well documented on here...I hated him even more than that in '07 for losing those two games in OT, regardless of the NC. My point is I will never be confident in the guy.
