This is disturbing, considering three straight years of piss poor offense. You can only blame so much on poor quarterback play. Money walks, bad coaches talk.

Wouldn't that same standard apply to most of the posters on this board?

I mean it is POSSIBLE Crowton leaves and it is POSSIBLE that he stays. It's also POSSIBLE that Saban comes back one day and we LAND ON THE MOON!!!

Anyone who believes Crowton staying would prove Belowpar wrong in any way, shape, or form needs some serious lessons in reading comprehension.
I can't believe I'm still surprised at times by the sheer idiocy of some of you people.

Because we would like to give our offensive players a chance to succeed?

BelowPar did say dont be surprised if LSU re does Miles' contract.

I took that to mean for the better for Miles or else why else would he do it.

Why, If Miles keeps an under performing OC, would LSU admin do that to themselves.

Unless they are just trying to give LES enough rope?

well les dinardo strikes again

maybe next year we can get 6 td passes out of jj after the amazing 4 he gave us this season.

how does an oc that had a starting qb throw for 4 td's in 12 games get to fricking stay?

If he comes back and the Offense is not greatly improved .....Miles deserves to be fired. IMHO

I'm saying don't be surprised if they don't redo his contract. Am I just as credible now?

No, his information comes from a place with actual substance. Not just out of thin air.

exactly. i mean if something isn't working out.. changes need to be made.. teams with true freshman quarterbacks who all they do is run.. have much better offensive stats..

yep, I can't wait to go to the Cotton Bowl and watch our offence produce 71 yards per half.

Just as a note, Crowton took over the LSU offense at a time when offensive talent was at an all time high. After breaking several records his first season, this is what he has done to the best LSU offense in recent memory

quote:

LSU still finished the regular season 11th in the SEC in total offense, last in passing offense and ninth in scoring offense.

quote:

t wasn't just this season, either. The Tigers finished last in the SEC a year ago in total offense.

Crowton is harming this program in more ways then one.Is it just a coincidence that our QB position is a total cluster frick since Flynn left? No, Crowton has no clue on how to develop a QB. Now, LSU is paying because no QB wants to come here. Miles is making a huge mistake keeping him.
