I don’t give two shites what either say to the player or what they say about their players to the media. I am a firm believer that if you can’t handle that then I can’t trust you to handle facing SEC pitching in a late game situation.

Link?
No ell, I'm not going through the trouble of finding links to prove what everyone already knows, that Saban threw Turner and Booty under the bus for the losses to Florida in 2003 and UAB in 2000.

I'm just not a fan of CPM anymore

You’re right. All that matters is the coach testing his players through the media. It’s not like recruits won’t notice or that it creates tension between players or groups of players. Definitely worth the psychological motivation.

Who knows? Saban does it all the time, and he recruits better than anyone in history. But maybe it's costing us.

Saban wins championships and again he doesn’t do it. You’re giving examples from 18 years ago ffs. I know for a fact it pisses off even the really good players.

Someone should have told that great recruiting class that they just brought in that CPM may say something truthful to the media about you one day.
Where is the evidence that him doing this has created tension between players? Or a recruit said no to LSU because of it?

quote:You know I can’t post an article right? Maybe Chris Reid will come back and give some examples for you. As far as recruits, there are players who don’t want to play for PM because he’s a dick. Not saying that’s unique but shite like what he did to Deichmann doesn’t help.

What’s wrong with a player being pissed off? Being pissed off in the moment does not mean the player can’t handle the criticism.

So it’s okay because it doesn’t matter? Interesting argument.

This is exactly what I’m saying lol. CPM is honest with the media calls it like it is and sometimes he goes too far I will admit that. My whole point is at the end of the day he usually understands that the players he is discussing can handle it and the players move on from it.
So yes as with most things the fans are making this a bigger deal than anyone involved with the program does.

And again, I feel like I need to repeat that I don’t think PM was throwing Arnold under the bus here. That’s just where the discussion has lead. I think PM saying Hill wasn’t mixing up pitches was more of a shot than this considering it’s Dunn making the calls. But I also don’t think PM meant to blame Hill either. It was just an odd way of putting it.

baw there is no way you hold down a job. You're on here arguing about the dumbest shite all day every day

Of a specific incident. No. In typical fashion, you knew what I meant but feign ignorance because you’re Russian.

You’re right. I don’t have a job.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to say you were out of a job. Your job is obviously scouring the rant for anyone who says something contrary to your baseball views and arguing with them until they stop responding
