Could you imagine this defense with K'Lavon Chaisson?

I’m enjoying this ride. But next years defense will be sick

it would be so much better

we have a solid run stopping line, 2 AA middle linebackers

shut down corners, AA safety

only thing were missing is a consistent pass rush.

Losing White and Greedy will be tough.

Fulton has come on strong though. He leads the team with 7 PBUs. Hopefully he stays.

Having to send Delpit into the box and rush the QB all the time is tough. If he was allowed to roam more freely with Chaisson getting pressure it would be ridiculous.

Yep. Really need Thornton, Moore and company to step it up. The opportunity is there. They just need to seize it.

losing white will definitely be a big blow. I really think that Patrick queen is also the real deal...not many guys would start over Devin White. Thats why we cant sleep on his backup! Patrick fricken Queen will step up and help fill that void.

LSU is in reload mode with LB and DB... Ironically, DLU is having trouble getting DL depth.

I was hoping one of the guys would step up for Chaisson, but it's a revolving door. Hopefully Jacoby Stevens will get more playing time and learn the role.

Man I knew it when he went down. I’ve started multiple threads saying how much I miss Klavon. He’s the difference in taking this defense to another level. We’re great but man I wish we had that freak show coming off the edge.

Huge, I truly believe that Baskerville will end up being really good as well.

I'll be surprised if he comes back. He's just going to keep getting better as the season progresses.

Next years defense will be good

But we are losing white and greedy for sure, and those are two huge pieces
And possibly Lawrence

Next years defense can get away with being average because the offense will be putting up 40ppg

Yeah, Fulton is having one of those seasons where he might peak toward the end. He'll shoot up draft boards too. We always have a surprise guy leave, and after his turmoil here, he might be the one this year.

Greedy is a RS soph, so he's eligible to declare for the draft.

The only requirement to declare is 3 years in college. Doesn't matter if you're a true junior or RS soph.

the biggest part is what Gary Danielson talked about last week... it forces us to use Devin White (arguably our best defender) on blitzes more, thus, taking him out of many plays... when you have that good rush end applying pressure you dont have to send Devin white or Grant Delpit near as much..
