Could this be the year of No. 1 Bama v. No. 2 LSU in Baton Rouge?

I always said that the only way Bama winning the championship in 2011 would have been fair was to have them beat us a second time in Baton Rouge since we had already beaten them in Tuscaloosa. Also, we had five ELITE (with four of those coming away from Tiger Stadium) wins that year compared to Bama's TWO, but I won't get into that.

Is this the year we finally get to see that game?

Yes, we have to win five games before that happens, including at FL, UGA and MSU, but I'm just saying.

If Hollywood were writing the script, Bama would win by 3 in Baton Rouge.....BUT, LSU would make the playoff and beat Bama in a rematch.

I'd rather just beat bama on Nov 03.

If that's the case, it will be #1 LSU. No one will have a better resume than undefeated LSU.

Not completely out of the realm of possibility. No reason to think we can't be 6-0 when UGA come to town. Obviously if we beat UGA, than this will come to fruition.

When we beat Mississippi State I will allow myself to believe. Seems like many here are sleeping on them.

I completely agree. I would take a win over Bama over anything. We have to get this off our back before we can legitimately look at further accomplishments.

i think if LSU is undefeated going into GA and we beat GA, then LSU's mentality for bama is going to make this years bama game freaking awesome and down to the wire again.

They will be confident as hell which can go a long way

Easily could be. We have to avoid overlooking Ole Miss and Florida. They always play us tough. If we get to Georgia undefeated your going to see a legit early 2000s atmosphere.

Place will come alive. If you can find a way to beat Georgia then you go into the state game feeling more confident than ever and you have revenge on your mind. We should win that one barring any major injuries.

That would be 4- top 10 wins (if state is top 10) going into the Bama game.

All of a sudden you have the biggest game of the year in Death Valley at night.

I truly think you will have an 07 Florida level of atmosphere if we get that.

it's possible. if you can beat a GOOD Auburn team in Jordan Hare then you are capable of beating anyone on your schedule.

Yep. Said it last week that, that’s the toughest game on the schedule. People underestimate how good Auburn’s defense is. We won’t face a front 7 much better than that one and our Oline passed with flying colors. Only sack of the game was a coverage sack where burrow tried to run and got tripped for a 1 yard loss.

I doubt it. Best case scenario is LSU #3/4 and Bama #1. LSU will have to contend with Ohio and Clemson's ranking. It will be a white knuckle game for us watching it.

If we're undefeated by that game we'd be number 1, not Bama.
