Could Sankey and the SEC do this every week for the rest of the season?

Could they kick off Mondays by threatening the hearing in Birmingham to be scheduled at the end of the week, and then call it off at the last minute? Essentially creating this huge disruption the whole season? I’m not a lawyer so don’t know how feasible this is but this whole situation reeks of “Lawfare”

It would be a bad look. The courts are trying to save face for Sankey by not going through with this circus act today.
