LSU coming together. Defense has a pulse. Winning builds confidence. This team has not even reached its full potential. Win next week, back to back road wins, and you can’t convince me they shouldn’t be in talks to win it all. Ranked in the top ten. Feels good to be a tiger fan.

From what I understand we have to win the SEC to get in.

If we are the loser of the SECCG, another undeserving team gets in from a weaker conference over us. So we have to beat UGA to get in

Not necessarily

If we finish 11-1, we are extremely likely to be in regardless of weather we win or lose in Atlanta

If we finish 10-2 but miss Atlanta there is probably a 75-80% chance we are in anyway.

If we finish 10-2 but lose to Atlanta we are probably out with the third loss. Sucks but true

And obviously if we finish 11-1 or 10-2 but win the SECCG we are an automatic bid

The SEC is the strongest conference in the land. Just look what happened to supposedly No. 1 Texas this weekend. So, with that said there's a strong possibility that 3 SEC teams make the 12 team playoffs.

It should be 5 SEC, 3 B1G, 1 ACC, 1 Big 12, 1 At Large, ND (if they finish 11-1).

But it will be 3 SEC, 2 ACC, 2 Big 12 most likely

Maybe, but it looks like ND is going to take an at-large spot unless they shite the bed. That leaves 6 at-large spots for the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, and SEC.

What happens if an undefeated ACC or Big 12 team (or both) lose their conference championship game. Is the committee going to leave out 12-1 Miami for a 10-2 SEC team? Or 12-1 BYU/Iowa State?

I think there’s a decent chance we see:
- 3 SEC
- 3 Big 10
- 2 ACC
- 2 Big 12
- 1 Ind (ND)
- 1 G5

But it will be very interesting to see how the committee views the Big 12 teams and Clemson/Miami when the first rankings come out.

we can sneak in with 2 losses without playing in ATLANTA

if we get to atlanta with 1 loss and UGA hands us our 2nd i think we are in

of course if we win SECCG we are in

if we have 2 losses and get to SECCg it is a MUST WIN then
