So is it Raymond or jackson?

The only comment on an article on espn about Raymond
I don't know how ticked off Nebraska fans are. He was here for a year, and you yourselves said the unit underperformed from what was expected last year in your latest rankings.
I'm trying to figure out where the bad news is, other than this makes it a more "interesting" story, if you try to rile up Husker fans.

Not a bad hire. Not homerun for sure but a potential homerun.
Recruiting and coaching ability is still questionable, not enough credentials.
Could've did a lot worse. Not bad.

Here is a perfect example of coach speak. When Arsene Wenger, manager of Arsenal FC, was asked if they were planning on loaning out Arshavin he basically said no. Well six hours after that, Arshavin was loaned out to Zenit, a club in russia.

It isn't a bad hire at all. It has potential to be a great hire. The only reason I say it isn't homerun, is because he hasn't stayed coaching long enough to know how good he is at development. Same thing with his recruiting.
But he played at LSU, was a pretty good DB and has NFL experience. He rose from graduate assistant to a major program fast too. That has to say something about his coaching ability. You know he'll be fired up to coach for LSU too since this is home for him.
He'll no doubt be a upgrade over Cooper as far as recruiting goes. Anybody would.

except for DB recruiting
I wonder if he remembers anything about bump and run coverage being under the 15 yards of cushion style of Pelini for so long.

Talent evaluation is something that is a question mark under him. I doubt he'll be better than Cooper but he really doesn't have much time in CFB to really say he is good at anything right now...
That is the thing that worries me about this hire. But he was around LSU and Miles, so I guess they know what they're getting.
If he can help us recruit players at other positions too(unlike Copper) then I'd say that is a big upgrade recruiting wise.

Nebraska was top 20 in pass D the past two years. Pretty impressive when you play in the pass happy Big 12/10

Sad to see him leave, but it was expected.
Some Husker fans weren't impressed with him this past season, but besides Dennard, most of the guys he was working with were freshman or sophomores. You can only do so much with that much youth.
Congrats Tiger fans.

The sec rant thinks it's a funny hire cause his name is close to Corey Feldman!!! What humor!

Just so happened to check Twitter at the right time. I've been a daily reader of this site for a few years now, just never got into posting. Figured I would come in with a bang. He is an LSU alum and we took him from Nebraska.
Welcome back
Well done!
